Jack Vanzet is a multidisciplinary artist working at the intersection of design, creative direction and music production. Jack’s practice is divided between self-directed and commissioned projects in both visual and audio mediums.
Jack has worked on campaigns for companies such as Google, Apple, Sony, McLaren, Adidas, Nike and designed visual identities in collaboration with some of the world’s largest electronic music acts such as RÜFÜS DU SOL and ODESZA.
Since 2010 Jack has released a number of records and music projects under his own name and the alias Thrupence—as well as collaborating with acts such as Wafia, Ta-ku and Chet Faker.
Jack’s practice often operates as an entire creative studio, collaborating with a network of talented friends to deliver projects across disciplines such as art direction, branding, motion design, short film, publishing, digital design, sound design and more. Regardless of medium, at the heart of Jack’s creative output is a deep desire to communicate authentically and connect with people on an emotional level.
Jack’s work has been awarded and recognised by entities such as Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA), Grafik Magazine, Communication Arts, Graphis, FRAME Magazine and the Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA).
